The Nike Air Max 97 pays respect to the original Air Max 1 as it borrows the distinctive red color for the mudguard. This Air Max 97 starts with a white base and overlays reflective silver piping for the classic Nike runner's wavy lines. A red mudguard dressed in patent leather gives the Air Max 97 some dressed-up flair. The Nike Air Max 97 is finished with a white midsole, a clear full-length Air unit, and a red and black sole.
